One of the fundamentals in empowering young women to speak up and be heard is to give them confidence to have conversations in formal and informal settings.
We were so pleased to have Mayor Bill Barnett and Brenda O’Connor teach our future leaders about etiquette. They learned the importance of introducing themselves with confidence, engaging with guests of all ages at the dinner table and how to respectfully voice opinions.
As the League of Courageous Women moves forward with membership plans, we are excited to make this a regular program as new girls step into the role of young ladies.
