Are you making your summer beach plans? Be sure to include something good for the environment. Join Keep Collier Beautiful for two new community cleanups scheduled on Saturday, June 4 and Tuesday, July 5.
Why these new dates? Memorial Day and Fourth of July celebrations often result in additional litter and debris on our beaches and in our waterways during sea turtle nesting season.
In addition to helping our wildlife, these beach cleanups are a fun volunteering opportunity for all ages of your family. But, the cleanups aren’t just for students. Projects like this make the perfect corporate team-building outing.
