CBIA and NABOR will host Politics in the Park, an old-fashioned political rally and straw vote Thursday, June 9, 4:30-7:00 p.m., at the NABOR Conference Center on 1455 Pine Ridge Rd.
Free and open to the public, the event is an opportunity to meet local candidates running for commissioner, school board and fire district seats, learn about current political issues and make voices heard. After meeting and discussing issues, attendees will participate in a straw vote with results available later that night.
