Is the Great Resignation finally about to end? Yes, according to a new study from Daily Muse.
After interviewing 2,500 workers who quit their jobs, the job search site found that 72 percent experienced surprise or regret for leaving for a company, which turned out to be less than what was expected. Forty-eight percent said they would try to get their old jobs back.
Daily Muse CEO Kathryn Minshew dubbed it “shift shock,” saying, “This is a generational shift, driven by Gen Z and Millennial candidates who are more likely to believe the employer-employee relationship should be a two-way street.”
