As SWFL continues recovery and rebuilding efforts following Hurricane Ian, experts say it’s taking a toll on our mental health. And if you’re having a hard time sleeping due to anxiety, it can impact your mood when you wake up.

Gretchen Rubin, author of “The Happiness Project” says we need to end each day on a high note in order to be more productive the next. She developed a list of eight solutions for waking up in a good mood, like setting an alarm on your phone for bedtime and journaling to ease stress.
