What happens when you challenge your faculty and staff to a Thanksgiving display contest? Unbelievable creativity and holiday spirit, that’s what.
The displays were made of nonperishable food items that help make a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. This is the first time we’ve done anything like this, and it was fun.
Yours truly judged the 14 entries from both campuses and declared winners for most creative, funniest, best school spirit and best overall. This is when we gained some serious pounds.
When the displays were disassembled, we delivered 665 pounds of food items to the Bonita Springs Assistance Office food pantry.
