Lee Health called and we answered. There is a critical shortage of blood in our community, so Hodges‘ faculty, staff and students stepped up and rolled up their sleeves to help.
On Feb. 8, our goal was to donate 20 pints during our blood drive. At the end of the day, we had donated 22 pints! These pints can help save several lives in our community, including an accident victim, patients battling cancer or a clotting problem. The process is quick and easy.
In addition to the satisfaction of helping others, our donors received a really cool Hodges University t-shirt.
