Students comprising Hodges University’s Class of 2020 have been counting down the days to celebrate their accomplishments on June 7. Unfortunately, COVID-19 intervened.
While we prioritize everyone’s safety first, we also want to balance that with our determination to honor our graduates with a formal commencement ceremony, complete with the traditional “Pomp and Circumstance.” Rather than cancel, we have made the decision to move the ceremony to Sunday, Oct. 4, at Hertz Arena.
Our graduates deserve to be honored for their hard work, and their friends and family deserve to be there cheering. Some things are just worth the extra wait.
