$34,500 in health care scholarships awarded

The Foundation of Collier County Medical Society (CCMS) announces its 2019 Foundation scholarship award winners:

Barron Collier High School

• Jessica Behrndt, attending Florida State University College of Medicine.

• Gabriela Fernandez, attending Ross University School of Medicine.

Lorenzo Walker Technical High

• Roxana De La Luz Arieta, attending AdventHealth University.

Lely High School

• Justine Bedolla, attending Florida State University College of Medicine.

• Elta Desvaristes, attending the Barry University physician assistant program.

North Miami Beach Senior High School

• Crystal Taylor, attending University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

Scholarships are funded in part through the Docs & Duffers golf tournament.
