We recently asked everyone to help us name our mascot. In just two weeks, we received over 100 entries from our faculty, staff, students, alumni, trustees and the community at large.
We discussed the names and after much debate, we decided on the name that means a “place of Hawks – where Hawks fly.”
The name? Keaton.
The winner is a member of our staff, Kelly Richards. We also recognized several runner-up winners for the thought they put into the names. The most creative entry? Emilia Ehrhawk.
You can show your pride in Keaton by purchasing your own Hodges Hawk here.
