Girls grilling for youth leadership

by

A few weeks ago, I wrote about letting your children choose volunteer projects. My vegetarian daughter, who has a passion for cooking and dancing, is excited to show off her grilling skills.

We’re competing in the Sunshine Ace Hardware Big Green EGGfest on April 13. While there will be grills loaded with brisket, sausage, pulled pork and many more meat products, my daughter and I will be showcasing our EGGtastic smoked, gluten-free pizza.

Proceeds from this event support local youth leadership programs through Farm City Charities. Bridget and I invite you to come out for a deliciously fun day.
