We’re coming up on a big election cycle in 2020, and maybe you are thinking about running for office. Sure, you’ll have to decide on your platform, your campaign team and fundraising strategy. Before your campaign launches, here are a few things to do to get ready to run:
• Clean up your online life: Make sure your social media photos and posts are appropriate.
• Read the rule books. Every word. Your local election supervisors in Collier, Lee and Charlotte counties have resources available online.
• Get healthy. The campaign trail can be stressful. You can prepare by exercising and eating right.
