FutureMakers report seeks to transform SWFL workforce

by

The FutureMakers Coalition works to remove barriers along the cradle-to-career pathway and create an informed and educated workforce in our SWFL region by focusing on areas of need, as identified by reports on system-wide services.

FutureMakers released a 2018 outcomes report, showing increased graduation rates, FAFSA completion and postsecondary attainment. However, the gaps that persist for African-American and Latino students highlight the need to continue to identify and address barriers.

The coalition has grown to over 300 FutureMakers, consisting of leaders in business, education, government, nonprofits and philanthropy across Glades, Hendry, Collier, Lee and Charlotte counties.
