Florida offers sales tax exemption for families

by The 100 Companies

Good news to Florida parents with babies and toddlers: Amidst the price increases and inflation that significantly affect your monthly family budget, there might be some silver lining up ahead with the recent state legislation.

From July 1, 2022 to July 30, 2023, sales on children’s single-use and reusable diapers and diaper inserts and baby and toddler clothing, apparel, and shoes are tax exempt!

The exemption does not cover watches, jewelry, umbrellas, or handkerchiefs as well as expenses incurred due to alterations made or rentals on these items and items intended for children over five-years-old. More details are available here.
