Fishermen’s Village: Annual Lighting of the Village

Kick off the upcoming holiday season at the annual Lighting of the Village on Nov. 16. This fun event at Fishermen’s Village will feature a holiday themed display for visitors.

Festivities begin at 5 p.m., as Santa arrives at the Fishermen’s Village front entrance courtesy of Punta Gorda Fire Chief Ray Briggs’ antique fire truck.

At 5:30 p.m., a ribbon cutting ceremony will be held with Santa and City of Punta Gorda officials, followed by a parade with the Lee County Pipes and Drums. The evening then continues with live holiday music and entertainment featuring the Shane Duncan Band.
