Fireworks ignite joyful memories

by The 100 Companies

My father worked in aviation, so growing up we were constantly around planes. When I was 10 years old, I got in trouble and had to go to work with Dad.

It was late on July 4, and I was bored and wanted to go. I remember getting in the cockpit of a small Cessna on the tarmac as he worked. There was a little light from the adjacent hangar.

Suddenly, the sky erupted in colorful fireworks. Dad got in the plane, and we took flight. It was spectacular.

Punishment? Not really. Why I love watching fireworks today? Absolutely.
