by The 100 Companies

Hurricane Ian left a devastating trail of damaged houses. To help families rebuild their homes and lives, FEMA is offering disaster assistance for Florida homeowners.

Applications can be completed by calling 800-621-3362 between 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM EST, by visiting DisasterAssistance.gov or through the FEMA mobile app. Those using a relay service can provide FEMA with the number of that service.

Just prepare the following information:

• Current contact number

• Address at the time of the disaster and current address

• Social Security number

• List of damage and losses

• Bank information

• If insured, the policy number or the agent/company name
