Janet Evanovich, the No. 1 New York Times Bestselling Author of the “Stephanie Plum Series,” spent a day with some of her fans and aspiring writers at the Collier County South Regional Library on Dec. 13. The event benefited the Pan-Florida Challenge, which funds cancer research and prevention.
She discussed how things have changed since the debut of her first novel in 1987. “Amazon has killed bookstores,” she said. “Don’t get me wrong, I love Amazon and I’ve sold lots of books online.”
The New Jersey native now resides in Naples, Florida. Her new series, “The Recovery Agent,” will be released in 2023.
