Immokalee High School junior Joel Guerrero has loved construction since he was a child. Guerrero recently enjoyed a career exploration day hosted by Pulte Homes.
Students enrolled in The Immokalee Foundation’s Career Development program received hands-on experience designing rooms at the Pulte Homes design center. They also toured the sales center and model homes in Corkscrew Shores.
One of the most memorable parts of Guerrero’s field trip was speaking to current Pulte employees about the different jobs within the company. He feels thankful for this experience because it confirmed that he wants to pursue a career in civil engineering.
