Instead, bring your animals to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s Amnesty Day on Feb. 29 at the Naples Zoo. You can safely surrender your pet and he or she will most likely be adopted out to a pre-qualified owner on the same day.
It is a win-win situation where you can find relief, your pet is safely adopted and the number of exotic animals released into the wild will be reduced.
