Water Quality 2020 Town Hall Meeting – a science-based panel to discuss the challenges of Red Tide and Blue-Green Algae Blooms.

  • Dr. Barry Rosen (FGCU) – Potential Health Effects of Blue-Green Algae.
  • Dr. Hilary Swain (Archbold Biological Station) – Lessons from Archbold Buck Island Ranch.
  • Mitch Hutchcraft (VP of King Ranch) – Best Management Practices for Agriculture.
  • Dr. Cynthia Heil (Mote Red Tide Institute) – Control and Mitigation of Red Tide.
  • Justin Mohan (FDOH) – Harmful Algae Bloom Public Nofitication Protocals.
  • Dr. Rick Stumpf (NOAA) – Forecasting Respiratory Irritation from Red Tide.
  • Penny Taylor (Collier County District 4 Commissioner) – What Are We Doing and What Can You Do?
