Understand Florida’s Government: Collier County Voters Forum

October 18, 2019 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm EDT

Free

The League of Women Voters of Collier County will host a public forum on what local voters should know about Florida’s government and the upcoming election on Oct. 18 at 10:30 a.m. at Community Foundation of Collier County.

The forum will be presented by Sandy Parker, founder of ‘Sparker’s Soapbox,’ which encourages informed participation in local elections.

Whether you are a new or long-time resident, understanding Florida’s government will help you be a more informed voter. With 2020 elections around the corner, it’s a good time to review Florida’s government at the state, county and city levels, and the people who represent us.
