
The community is invited to join first responders and public officials at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at Caloosa Sound Convention Center, 1374 Monroe St., Fort Myers. Doors will open at 7:45 a.m. The 90-minute free ceremony will be conducted by agencies including law enforcement, fire, public safety and airlines. The ceremony includes a national colors presentation, patriotic music and the reading of names of those who lost their lives in the line of duty. Attendees are asked to follow current Centers for Disease Control guidelines for large events and gatherings.
