Lunch & Learn Lecture Series: Through the Eyes of a Staff Member

The Lunch & Learn lecture series hosted at the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center invites guests to enjoy a meal while learning about an environmental topic.
In honor of Rookery Bay Research Reserve’s 40th anniversary, the 2018-2019 lecture series, titled “Rookery Bay: Through Their Eyes,” focuses on the history of the Rookery Bay area and the establishment of the research reserve.
The next lecture is presented by Renee Wilson, communications coordinator for Florida Department of Environmental Protection at Rookery Bay Research Reserve. Her multi-media presentation will provide perspective on important events, special visitors and memorable moments in the reserve’s history.
