Lunch & Learn Lecture Looks at the Reserve Through the Eyes of a Local Resident and Volunteer

This event hosted at the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center invites guests to enjoy a delicious meal while learning about an environment topic.
In honor of the Rookery Bay Research Reserve’s 40th anniversary, this year’s lecture series, titled “Rookery Bay: Through Their Eyes”, focuses on the history of the area and establishment of the research reserve.
The Jan. 29 lecture happens from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. and is presented by the longtime volunteer, Alison Hayes. In her presentation, she traces and explains the growth of the reserve to its present size.
