Lecture on Eldercare, Health and Ecosyndemics of a Perilous World

The Leadership Coalition on Aging (LCA) – an interagency coalition of more than 90 advocates committed to enriching the lives of Collier County seniors – is pleased to announce Dr. Janelle Christensen will be the spotlight speaker at the charity’s Thursday, February 27, 2020, meeting scheduled for 9 a.m. at The Lyon Center, Avow Campus, 1223 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples.
Free and open to the public, this presentation is based on anthropological methods which Christensen uses illuminate the lived experience of families caring for elder relatives during climate related events, detailing stark realities facing increasing numbers of people living in coastal areas.
