League of Women Voters of Collier County celebrates the Ratification of the 19th Amendment

Join the League of Women Voters on February 20 at The Naples Sailing and Yacht Club.
The fight for women’s right to vote was long and contentious and after 72 years of struggle, success came in 1920 with the passage of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution. Come celebrate 100 years of votes for women and the founding of the League on February 20, 2020!
The event will highlight major accomplishments over the 100 years and will hear from special guest speaker Claudine Schneider. Her early career was as an environmentalist including as Executive Director of the Conservation Law Foundation before running for Congress.
