22nd Anniversary of The Great American Cleanup, a.k.a Earth Day Trash Bash. This cleanup is the nation’s largest organized annual cleanup & beautification event. Millions of volunteers nationwide take part in the Great American Cleanup each spring. Keep Lee County Beautiful recruits Volunteers, Site Captains, Area Managers and local Sponsors to foster unity and strengthen community bonds through beautification and improvement efforts across Lee County. Volunteers of all ages are welcome and any individual, family, school, group, place of worship, business or government entity can coordinate or participate in an average of 30 simultaneous projects throughout Lee County.
