2021 International Coastal Cleanup
Saturday, September 18th
8:00am to 11:00am at most locations throughout Lee County
Keep Lee County Beautiful is the Lee County coordinator for Ocean Conservancy’s annual International Coastal Cleanup, the largest volunteer effort of its kind. Every September for 34 years, ICC has motivated more than 12 million people from around the world to pick up over 147 million pounds of trash from more than 300,000 miles of shoreline.
We will provide the cleanup supplies, but encourage volunteers to bring their own mask, gloves, and reusable water bottle from home. We will have water, garbage bags, latex gloves, neck buffs, and hand sanitizer. Also remember to bring your sunscreen!
All ages are welcome and any individual, family, school, group, place of worship, business or government entity can coordinate or participate.
