Global Youth Service Day

Global Youth Service Day (GYSD) celebrates and mobilizes the millions of young people who improve their communities through service. It is the largest service event in the world and the only one dedicated to the contributions that children and youth make 365 days of the year.
Keep Lee County Beautiful is looking for Youth Leaders to implement the following types of projects: painting, trimming, exotic removal, building project (planters/tables), bamboo removal, river cleanup, planting.
Volunteers, ages 12-18, will work in small groups to accomplish the tasks at hand.
Immediately following the event all volunteers will enjoy a free lunch celebration.
