Fishermen’s Village Blues Fest

Event organizers for Fishermen’s Village are pleased to announce the addition of a new special event for 2023, Blues Fest! Scheduled to begin at 12 noon and continue until 10 pm on the Dry Beach, Fishermen’s Village Blues Fest will feature the heart and soul of blues music, showcasing the talent of:

• Joey Gilmore Band – 12 noon – 3 pm – Highlights: Joey Gilmore is an American Electric Blues and Soul Singer, songwriter and guitarist that has shared the stage with James Brown, Etta James and Little Milton to name a few! A true Blues and R & B Master who incorporates new and varied styles in his high energy show.
• Dottie Kelly Band – 4-6:30 pm – Highlights: 2022 IBC finalist powerhouse blues singer, whose soulful voice, pure raw talent and natural stage presence are a force to be reckoned with, that has made her a bona fide soul singer.
• Rockin’ Jake – 7:30-10 pm – Highlights: Five-time winner, Off Beat Magazine’s Best of the Beat award for best harmonica player, Jake has been hailed by many as one of the premier harmonica players in the country.
