Foundation of Collier County Medical Society Invites “Docs & Duffers” to Golf
Registration open for the Foundation’s charity golf tournament
GRegistration is open for The Foundation of Collier County Medical Society’s 9th Annual “Docs and Duffers” charity golf tournament and raffle at Bonita Bay Club Naples on September 24th. Tee-off is at 8:45am, and includes an enjoyable day of golf, hosted refreshments, prizes, and an awards luncheon.
The Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization launched by the Medical Society in 2012. The tournament will benefit the Foundation’s scholarship programs for students pursuing degrees in healthcare, and funding for local healthcare programs in need. “We are awarding $24,000 in scholarships this year alone and look forward to continuing our gifts for many years to come,” said Dr. Rolando Rivera, board chair of the Foundation. “Docs & Duffers, our signature fundraiser, makes these awards possible by harnessing the generosity of medical providers, partners, supporters, and volunteers to raise crucial funds and support quality healthcare in our community.”
Golf registration rates are $195 per person or $750 per foursome. Sponsorship and underwriting packages are available starting at $550, and companies are also invited to donated prizes for the tournament and raffle contest.
