The Marco Island Center for Arts presents the “Comic Relief” an unusual exhibition starting on Jan. 29, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at their facility. The exposition goes on for the whole week.
Using cartoons, graphics, illustrations, fanciful narratives, and images with texts the exhibit’s 6 artists explore how elements of comics are no longer disposable entertainment but have become their own visual language.
From the most charming to the rock ‘em sock ‘em superheroes, they all tell a story. The artists displaying are: Kayleigh Castle, David Horton, Lee Horton, Betty Newman, Douglas Smith and Michael White.
