AAUW Greater Naples Branch will hold its monthly meeting on Saturday, February 8 from 10:00 am to 12 noon. . The meeting will be held at the Collier County Education Association,uin Naples.
The speaker, Dr. Thomas Felke, chair of the Department of Social Work at Florida Gulf Coast University, will speak about the current state of social issues in Southwest Florida, focusing on affordable housing, food insecurity, homelessness and poverty among residents and households.
AAUW advances equity for women and girls through research, advocacy and education. Refreshments and registration will be at 9:30 a.m.
