A Celebration of the American Spirit at The Shell Factory

A “Celebration of the American Spirit” begins at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11; the ceremony begins at 12:16 p.m., the exact time air traffic was grounded in the U.S. on the day of the terrorist attacks. NBC2 anchor Peter Busch will be the master of ceremonies. Other appearances include the Lee County Sheriff’s Office bomb squad division, the LCSO Honor Guard performing TAPS, Cape Coral Fire Department fire trucks, the Patriot Riders of America motorcycle club, the Hero Jeep, the Military Museum bus and live music by the Pure Country Band. The Shell Factory and Nature Park is at 16554 N. Cleveland Ave.
