Join Automotive Curator, James Moss, for a discussion on one of the most popular vehicles in our collection. This will include a demonstration on how to start the Model T. Two. Years after his first trip to Fort Myers, Ford sent a telegram to the local Ford dealership directing it to present Edison with a new Model T for his birthday. Over the years, Ford asked Edison if he would like a new vehicle, but each time Edison responded that it worked just fine. The car is now on display in the museum and was presented to Edison in 1916.
