Durso’s coffeehouse brings more than caffeine to Cape Coral

by The 100 Companies

When does a coffee shop become a “coffeehouse”? Perhaps when it creates a community by connecting people through the arts and music.

Owner Christopher Durso originally opened Educators Music, which claims to be the first and oldest music store in Naples, in 1976. It offers a full line of guitars, drums, band and orchestra instruments.

But Durso was missing the sense of “community” that a coffeehouse can bring. In 2012, he launched Durso’s Delite Bakery & Cafe, which offers traditional coffee and pastries. Additionally, it offers art classes, bands, beer and a fun opportunity to connect with your friends and neighbors.
