Dressing up for literacy and language

by The 100 Companies

Dressing up in creative, self-made costumes is one way that students at Pathways Early Education Center of Immokalee are learning literacy and language skills while having fun. Throughout the month of October, students participate in a variety of hands-on learning activities that lead up to the much-anticipated storybook parade.

Pathways is striving for 100% of its Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) students to be kindergarten ready, which includes developing the whole child.

In addition to reading, writing and arithmetic, the school’s students enjoy one-on-one with virtual mentors to help them develop social-emotional skills to prepare each child for a lifetime of learning.
