Dancing for the shelter animals: GCHS to host ’70s and ’80s themed dance June 23

Boogie the night away with your bell bottoms and big hair at the Gulf Coast Humane Society’s ’70s and ’80s Dance Party and Costume Contest on Friday, June 23, at the Indigo Room located in Downtown Fort Myers.

The event will run from 7-10 p.m. Tickets are $25 and will support GCHS’ mission to care for companion pets in need by offering safe refuge, providing medical care and facilitating adoptions. The organization promotes responsible adoption of rescued animals and also provides quality, affordable veterinary care.
