As Clerk of the Courts and Comptroller, Crystal Kinzel cares deeply about protecting your personal records from criminals seeking to steal your identity. During her time at the Clerk’s Office, she has been proud to work closely with the Identity Theft and Fraud Alert Task Force on two key initiatives: prevention and education.
Through the task force, she initiated an alert system on the Clerk’s website. Members of the public can request notification if any critical records such as deeds or licenses are changed. Additionally, she has made community education about the Clerk’s services and protection measures a strategic priority.
