Creative connections

One of the best things about my job and community volunteer work is getting to meet a lot of people who are looking for ways to connect for good. Sometimes connections are found in the most unusual places, too.

I would have never thought that joining our local fly-fishing club would connect me to a group of awesome gentlemen that I could then introduce to Youth Haven.

Now, these men will be teaching homeless and abused kids at Youth Haven the art of fly tying. The lessons of patience and focus will be wrapped inside those beautiful, tiny flies.
