Are you undercutting yourself with cliché sayings?

Entrepreneur.com recently shared an article by Joe Curcillo with 24 cliché sayings to remove from your lexicon. Phrases like “I’m just saying” or “That’s my two cents” reduce the value of your knowledge. If you truly know an answer, own it, and express your expertise.

Occasionally, we all make mistakes. When you do, you should also own it and try to restore integrity instead of defensively avoiding blame with “It’s not my fault.”

While removing these phrases is one step to building up your brand, it is equally important to shift your perspective to emphasize “How can we accomplish this?”
