Clark Family Foundation grant expands DLC’s children’s community mental health, prevention and education services

by The 100 Companies

David Lawrence Centers for Behavioral Health (DLC) received a $75,000 grant from the Clark Family Foundation, Inc. — a Naples, Florida-based foundation that supports organizations that promote the health and well-being of children.

The children’s mental health grant will fund community based, mental health treatments in settings where managing the child’s emotions and behaviors are most difficult, such as at home or school. The grant will help provide at-risk families basic living essentials — such as food, clothing and school supplies — necessary to maintain a successful treatment experience. Funds will also provide prevention and education services to students and the community.
