Retired Colonel Charlette Roman has embodied leadership since moving to Marco Island as a full-time resident in 2002. While she currently serves on Marco Island City Council, Roman has helped shape the community through multiple terms on the Collier County Planning Commission.
Roman is a certified Florida master naturalist in both coastal systems and freshwater wetlands and is accredited by the Council for Environmental Education. An accomplished photographer, Roman shares Marco Island’s nature through her “Marco’s Natural Magic” photography series.
