If you are in the gift-giving camp that thinks cash is an impersonal holiday gift, think again. An informal social media poll I recently conducted showed that cash is the preferred gift to receive. And not only at Christmas.
Local residents of varying ages and professions chimed in that cash is No. 1 on their wish list as it’s always something they can use to either smooth out holiday budgeting bumps or treat themselves and their family to something special.
