United Way House opens in Cape Coral

A new Cape Coral United Way House will help agency partners provide greater access to services and assistance programs through:

• Goodwill Job Links.

• Cape Coral Caring Center.

• Multiple Sclerosis Center of Southwest Florida.

• Literary Council Gulf Coast.

• The Salvation Army.

• Legal Aid Society Self-Help Center.

• SalusCare.

With a collaborative approach, agencies can address the immediate need that brings the person to the house and longer-term needs, to prevent future crises. For example, meeting an immediate need for food may also allow partners to assist in finding employment or other services, helping families become more stable and self-sufficient.
