It’s October, which means pink everything for breast cancer awareness. Did you know, according to the American Cancer Society, an estimated 44,000+ women will die of breast cancer in the U.S. in 2021? Despite advances in treatment and increased “pink” awareness, breast cancer diagnoses have gone up every year in the past decade.
So, what can you do? Advocate for yourself and schedule your mammogram today. Early detection is key to surviving breast cancer, so you can wear and buy pink-labeled products, but ultimately, the best thing you can do to help your family is to get that mammogram.
