Naples student shares story of inspiration and strength

In our everyday lives, we are often given the privilege to meet and know a few individuals that shape and inspire us for many years to come. At Naples High, that person is Boomer Hornbeck.

Boomer Hornbeck was born with cerebral palsy and told by doctors he wouldn’t walk or live past the age of five. Hornbeck has surpassed those expectations, and now, after 23 surgeries, this 17-year-old motivational speaker is far from finished.

Boomer defeats the odds every day by spending most of his free time working out at the gym and encouraging others with his speeches.
