Americans love celebrating the USA’s birthday with a bang. And in Southwest Florida, that means fireworks on the beach at night and a big mess afterwards.
Take pride in our country and our beaches, and participate in the Keep Lee County Beautiful 5th of July Cleanup. Residents and visitors are encouraged to join in the beach cleanup from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Bunche Beach, Fort Myers Beach near Lynn Hall Memorial Park or at the Sanibel Causeway.
Volunteers of all ages are welcome and water, garbage bags and latex gloves will be provided. Just bring sunscreen.
