A tribute to Treasure

Shy Wolf Sanctuary's beloved wolfdog Treasure was a charmer from the beginning and embodied his name, which was recommended by one of our dedicated volunteers. “He’s such a treasure!” was his first and last impression.

Shy Wolf Sanctuary was deeply saddened to share that our beloved Treasure had made his final journey to the Rainbow Bridge. At 14 years old, he appeared to have passed peacefully in the night with his beloved Jewel nearby.

Treasure was originally found as a stray in a junkyard in Brooksville, Florida. Working with the Hernando County Animal Control, we were able to bring him in to our pack.

For the past 12 years, Treasure has helped educate our visitors and bring joy to our volunteers. He has touched thousands of lives.
